About Cayla

Cayla Kurland, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of California. She earned her Master of Arts degree from Northwestern University in Speech-Language Pathology and her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.
With nearly 15 years of clinical experience, Cayla has worked in private practices, schools, in-home therapy, and community-based organizations around the country with children of all ages, teens, and adults.
She has extensive experience evaluating and treating individuals with: articulation and phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language disorders, developmental language delays and impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders, auditory processing disorders, cleft palate and craniofacial differences, stuttering/fluency disorders, and hearing impairment.
She enjoys working relationships with both the UCLA and St. John's Hospital Cleft Palate Teams. She also has experience working with adults wishing to reduce their foreign accents or improve overall
speech clarity.
Cayla is PROMPT (PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) trained. Cayla is Hanen Certified - It Takes Two To Talk for early childhood language development. She also has advanced training in the Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) approach for apraxia.
In her free time, Cayla enjoys running, hiking, training Muay Thai, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Charlee.

Lia DeLeon, MA, CCC-SLP, has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
She earned her Master’s degree from Ohio University and her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio State University.
Lia evaluates and treats a wide range of disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, receptive and expressive language disorders, stuttering/fluency disorders, social (pragmatic) disorders, apraxia of speech, and auditory processing disorders.
Lia also has experience working with augmentative and
alternative communication (AAC).
Lia is Hanen Certified - It Takes Two To Talk for early childhood language development. She is also trained in the Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) approach for apraxia.
She strives to provide the most comprehensive treatment through a personalized approach.
Lia believes that speech therapy should be facilitated through learning opportunities that are engaging and enjoyable.
Lia enjoys trying new recipes, going on walks, and listening to live music.

Sabrina Moradzadeh, MS, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of California. She earned her Master of Science from California State University, Northridge in Speech-Language Pathology. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge in Communication Disorders and Sciences.
Sabrina has experience with early intervention, preschool-age and school-age children.
She evaluates and treats a wide range of disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, receptive and expressive language disorders, stuttering/fluency disorders, social (pragmatic) disorders, and apraxia of speech. Sabrina also has experience working with a wide range of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

She strives to make therapy fun and engaging and believes families are an integral part of the therapeutic process.
Sabrina was born and raised in Los Angeles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Sabrina has a black belt in karate, speaks Farsi fluently, and she has a pet husky named Ollie.
